Indian equities having pared some of its
losses, continue to trade in the
negative zone. Realty, banking and power stocks lost ground. www.goldennifty.com
The Sensex was trading down 219.16 points or 1.26% at 17,142.58
with 27 components falling. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading lower by 63.95
points or 1.21% at 5,214.25 with 46 components falling. www.goldennifty.com
The 30-share benchmark index, BSE Sensex opened flat with a rise
of 15.85 points or 0.09% at 17,377.59, while the broad based NSE Nifty started
with a fall of 3.85 points or 0.07%, at 5,274.35. www.goldennifty.com
Sensex Movers
I C I C I Bank contributed fall of 42.93 points in the Sensex.
It was followed by Infosys (21.22 points), Reliance Industries (19.68 points),
Tata Consultancy Services (15.2 points) and State Bank Of

However, I T C contributed rise of 7.45 points in the Sensex. It
was followed by Jaiprakash Associates (2.62 points), Wipro (2.58 points),
Hindalco Industries (0.17 points) and Hindustan Unilever (0.31 points). www.goldennifty.com
Major gainers in the 30-share index were Wipro (0.84%), I T C

On the other hand, Tata Power Company
(3.62%), I C I C I Bank (3.47%), NTPC (2.56%), D L F (2.45%), Tata Consultancy
Services (1.89%), and Tata Motors (1.85%) were the biggest
