markets continue to trade in a lackluster manner amidst
volatility tracking firm Asian cues. IT, teck and banking stocks dipped, while FMCG and auto moved up.
The
Sensex was trading down 49.25 points or 0.28% at 17,416.95 with 19 components falling. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading lower by 12.85

30-share benchmark index, BSE Sensex opened with a gain
of 65.27 points or 0.37% at 17,531.47, while the broad based NSE
Nifty started with a rise of 19.45 points or 0.37%, at 5,337.35. www.goldennifty.com

Tata
Consultancy Services contributed fall of 24.09 points in the Sensex. It was
followed by Housing Development
Finance Corporation (23.74 points), H D F C Bank (17.17 points), State

I T C contributed rise of 34.43 points in the Sensex. It was followed by Tata
Motors (8.65 points), Mahindra & Mahindra (8.25 points), Hindustan Unilever
